The Loos Memorial, France: Panel 19 and 20, (Reg. MR19). The Loos Memorial forms the sides and back of Dud Corner Cemetery. The name ‘Dud Corner’ is believed to be due to the large number of unexploded enemy shells found in the neighbourhood after the Armistice.
Son of Mary A Runham, Brookfield Road, Sawston, and the late James Runham. An only son, he was killed leading a bombing party on the German lines.
